Goodness! You have a seriously full plate. However you're doing it you are achieving awesome stuff for the family, the kids. I hear you on bandwidth; sometimes it's the only thing to do to say 'enough' and slough off a few things. There's no harm in doing *less*.

Keep going!

Not so random, persistent acts of kindness: keeping my kids alive. Daily.

I vote yes. How does this yoga thing work—do you write it in somewhere? I’d write: made kid a sandwich without being thanked, picked up after someone “anonymously,” paid for someone’s dinner (a lot of times), did someone’s laundry because they weren’t able to do it themselves…. I could go on!

lolol unfortunately there is a pre-printed "kindness list" with only 5 spots for adding your own... I have not confirmed that the expectation is that we mostly complete items on their list (hilariously, one is "bring treats in for your co-workers"... my co-workers are definitely my kids, right??) but that was the vibe I got.

the yoga people should be directing their acts of kindness AT YOU! ;)

I also have a case of the May Meltdowns. Honestly summer is more work for me as a mom than the school year so there's not that feeling of "aaah time for a break".

hah I will happily accept all acts of kindness!!

We're one week in and I can't decide if summer is offering the break I hoped it would. It's nice to not be homeschooling, and we are on slightly less of a schedule (felt like I was always looking at the clock, making sure I was leaving the house to drop off my youngest so I had enough time to make my yoga class, making sure I was watching for middle kid's bus in the afternoon, etc. etc.) but I miss my morning workout and so far haven't had as much time to read as I had hoped!
