Little Craft Fest recap!
Little Craft Fest happened in Houston at the end of April and it was so fun! I’m glad I went, and that my friend Andrea was able to go with me. Being surrounded by fellow paper people is the best.
I filmed a video and shared my stamp rally haul (goodie bag for collecting stamps from the participating vendors), talked about the workshop we did with Amy Tangerine, and finally, went through all of the goodies I purchased.
My takeaways for the day were one: use your stuff!!! (I sometimes struggle with this when it comes to vintage ephemera) and two, time spent deeply engaging in your hobbies in community is so rewarding.
I was really honored that Amy asked me to hand letter in her planner! Andrea and I made it into her Little Craft Fest vlog (around 13:30). A little cringe-y because I was definitely tired by this point in the day!
Overall, it was a super fun event and I hope I can attend next year!
Tickets for Hello, Houston with Cute Things from Japan go on sale at the end of the month, fingers crossed it works out for me to attend. Can’t decide if I want to do both of the workshops or just one, and if so, which one??
If you’ve been to a stationery fest, pls share which one and if you’d go again!
